Join artists, creatives, supporters, and leaders from across the Commonwealth for an annual week of advocacy, action, and celebration. Meet with elected officials, organize your networks and celebrate the power of arts, culture, and creativity in Massachusetts.
SAVE THE DATE: Creative Sector Advocacy Week 2025 be April 28 - May 2nd and Creative Sector Day at the State House will be April 30th.
Whether it’s building our campaign to achieve $5 per capita for the Mass Cultural Council or mobilizing behind next session’s Creative Sector Legislative Agenda, 2025 will bring new opportunities for all of us to advocate for increased support for the creative sector.
As we get closer to the next Advocacy Week, MASSCreative and co-hosts will support you by leading trainings on effective advocacy and supplying you with guides to facilitate local and regional events. We are committed to providing you with the resources you need to make Creative Sector Advocacy Week 2025 impactful and joyful.

The more people who get involved during Advocacy Week, the greater our impact. Here are a couple of ways you can lead during next year’s Advocacy Week:
Volunteer! We will need volunteers to help run next year’s day of celebration at the State House. You can participate by helping with setup, breaking down, and checking people in.
Host a creative event in your community. Last year, Springfield Creative City Collective and Black and Brown Wall Street organized a 24-hour livestream to kick off Advocacy Week. During the livestream, they invited performers, activists, and policymakers to talk about their work to support the sector. The livestream was entirely designed and executed by the two organizations and added a greater dimension to the week. How would you like to raise the visibility of the sector? Consider organizing your own event during Advocacy Week and let us know about it so we can help with promotion! -
Last year's Creative Sector Advocacy Week was possible thanks to support from the Mass Cultural Council. If you are interested in supporting Creative Sector Advocacy Week 2025 by becoming a sponsor, please contact info@mass-creative.org for more information.
